Sightseeing

Explore caves & grottos. The Wallblake House, a restored 17th century plantation house. Lobster fishing village at Island Harbor. Salt ponds at Sandy Ground. Island tour $40.00 for 1 or 2 persons. Each additional person pays $5.00, maximum of 6 persons.

Sports

There are public tennis courts at Ronald Webster Park. Several hotels have tennis courts. The Malliouhana has four championship courts for guests only; Cinnamon Reef has two at a cost of US$25 per hour for non-residents, free for guests; Cap Juluca, Sonesta and Cove Castles all have courts for guests’ use only, others make a charge for non-guests: Carimar Beach Club, US$20 per hour; The Mariners, US$20 per hour; Masara Resort, US$10 per hour; Rendezvous Bay, US$5 per hour; Spindrift Apartments, US$5-10 per hour. For spectator sports, call the Sports Officer, T2317, for information on fixtures. There is cricket, basketball, soccer, volley ball, soft ball, cycling and track and field. Horse riding, with trail rides or riding lessons, is offered by El Rancho del Blues, T6164. Body & Soul Health and Fitness Club, Sandy Ground, T/F8364, offers aerobics, reebok step and soca dance classes.
