Banks

Travelers in Aruba who carry ATM cards bearing the CIRRUS or MasterCard network logos can withdraw cash in Aruban Florins. Home bank accounts will be debited in dollars at a favorable exchange rate. ATM machines may be found in the following locations: Dr. Horacio Oduber Hospital in Eagle; Main Street in San Nicolaas; Marinierskazerne in Savaneta; Caribbean Mercantile Bank at: Caya G.F. Betico Croes 51 (Main Street, downtown), L.G. Smith Boulevard 17, Seaport Village Mall, Royal Plaza Mall, Coastal Gas Station Blvd., Palm Beach 48 in Noord, Zeppenfeldstraat 35 in San Nicolaas, and Santa Cruz 41 in Santa Cruz; ABN AMRO Bank at: Caya G.F. Betico Croes 89; Sun Plaza Bldg. At L.G. Smith Blvd. 160; Port of Call Mall at L.G. Smith Blvd. 17 near the harbor. Ling & Songs Supermarket. Kong Hing Supermarket, Certified Mega Mall and at the Queen Beatrix International Airport.

Monday to Friday 0800 1600.
The Caribbean Mercantile Bank branch at the airport is open Monday to Thursday 0800 1600. Friday 0800 1700.
Saturday and Sunday 1000 1800, except official holidays.

Monday to Saturday 0900 1200 and 1400 1800.
Shopping Malls: Monday to Saturday 1000 1800.

The current exchange rate is US$100 = Aruban Florin 1.78.

Taxes & service charges

Departure tax US$34.25 (Passenger Facility Charge, PFC); additional US$3.25 for U.S. bound passengers making use of U.S. Customs and Immigration Services in Aruba (Special Facility Charge, SPC) - included in tickets. Room tax 6%. Hotel service charge on rooms 11%.
