Suggestion:

The $34.55 international departure tax is hidden in most ticket prices, but check when you make your purchase. If you do any island-hopping, you may be charged a separate airport tax. At publication time, the tax from Aruba to Bonaire had been lowered from $20 to $10, but the tax to Curaçao remained at $20. There is an inter-island move toward lower airport taxes to encourage travel for both locals and tourists, so the rate may be less by the time you visit.
