MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS:
A Marriage License must be obtained in Barbados by all visitors desirous of getting married. There are no residence requirements, and marriage can take place immediately after the license is obtained. Documents Required: Valid passports or the original or certified copies of the applicants' birth certificates and airline tickets should be presented. If either party was married previously and widowed, a certified copy of the Marriage Certificate and Death Certificate in respect of the deceased spouse. If either party was divorced, an original Decree Absolute or a certified copy of the Final Judgement or the Decree Nisi is necessary. If the Decree Absolute is in a foreign language, the document should be translated by an authorized Notary Public. Fees: If neither party is a citizen or resident of Barbados - 150.00 cash and a 25.00 stamp. If either party is a citizen of Barbados - BD $45.00 cash and a $10.00 stamp. Arrangements should be made with a Minister of Religion or a magistrate prior to the completion of an application form for the license. A letter from the Minister of Religion or Magistrate who has consented to perform the marriage ceremony should be presented at the time of filing the application.

PET REGULATIONS:
An import permit must be obtained before the entry into Barbados of all pets. Dogs and cats can be imported by permit directly from the following countries: the UK, The Republic of Ireland, Jamaica, St. Kitts/Nevis, Antigua, St. Lucia and St. Vincent. Cats and Dogs originating from any other countries must undergo six month quarantine in Great Britain after which time an import permit can be secured.
