MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Visitors who wish to come to Bermuda to get married must have their Notice of Intended Marriage published in the Bermuda newspapers by the Registrar General. A completed Notice of Intended Marriage Form must include a bank draft in the amount of $186.00 (plus $19 for the certificate) (subject to increase as of April 1, 2002). Only those resident in England, Scotland or Northern Ireland who intend to marry a British subject resident in Bermuda can have their banns called in Church instead. No blood tests or health certificates are required. Copies of divorce decrees must accompany the Notice of Intended Marriage form. Contact the Registrar General's office Tel: 441-297-7709.
