Local Tourist Office
The main office of the Curaçao Tourism Development Bureau is at Pietermaai 19, Willemstad, PO Box 3266, T4616000, F4612305. There is an information office on Breedestraat, east of Hendrikplein, and at the airport.

The Curaçao Hotel and Tourism Association (CHATA) is at Kaya Junior Salas 1, T4651005, in down town Punda, offering helpful information, assistance in finding a hotel, brochures, maps, etc. There are also several Visitor Information Centres dotted round Willemstad and some booths sponsored by resort hotels, which have irregular hours. Members of Curaçao Hospitality Services look after the parking lots and are trained in first aid and how to give directions.

One of the best island tours available is with Casper Tours, T5610721/4653010, informative, fun, covers east to west, 0900-1600 including lunch at a local restaurant for US$35 (cruise ships’ tours from US$15) in a/c mini buses, English, Dutch and Spanish spoken. Taber Tours (branch at airport and at many hotels) do a variety of tours, usually in large Greyhound type buses. Old City Tours do a walking tour of Otrabanda, 1715-1900, US$5.55 including a drink, T4613554.
