Happy hours at marinas: Boatyard Bar at Prickly Bay Marina. 1730-1830, TV and live music several times a week in season, also good food at the Yacht Club. Rum Squall Bar at Secret Harbour Marina. Inexpensive weekly barbecue and daily happy hour 1600-1700.

Grenada Yacht Club in St George’s. Has happy hour Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 1800-1900, yachtsmen and others welcome, great place to sit and watch the boats entering the lagoon (and see if they are paying attention to the channel markers or run aground). Casablanca Sportsbar, Grand Anse. Games, pool, snooker, large TV.
Nightlife
The resort hotels provide evening entertainment, including dancing, steelband and calypso music, limbo, etc. There are not a great many discothèques and nightclubs outside the hotels and low season can be very quiet. The Boatyard at the marina on L’Anse Aux Epines Beach has bands playing Wednesday and Friday nights with dancing; Dynamite Disco at the Limes on Grand Anse Beach has weekend parties; Fantazia 2001 Disco on Morne Rouge Beach from 2130 Friday and Saturday dancing and Cultural Cabaret, cover charge, Golden Oldies Wednesday; Le Sucrier, in the Sugar Mill at Grand Anse roundabout, Wednesday-Saturday 2100-0300, DJs or live music. On Carriacou there is a good jump-up every Friday after mass at Liz’ Refreshment, Tyrrel Bay, with excellent DJ. The Regal Cinema is off Lagoon Road, next to Tropicana, movies nightly at 2030, EC$5 for double feature. The Marryshow Folk Theatre in the University of the West Indies building on Tyrrel Street, has concerts, plays and special events.
