From Europe: Like Martinique, Guadeloupe is on Air France’s direct route from Paris (about 8 hrs) with other flights from Cayenne, Miami, Caracas, Fort-de-France, Havana, Port-au-Prince and Santo Domingo; for more details, see under Martinique for Air France’s services from France and elsewhere. Other airlines with services to Guadeloupe include AOM French Airlines (from Paris, Lyon, Nantes), Air Liberté (Paris).

From North America: Air Canada has direct flights from Montréal; American Eagle has flights from San Juan, with connections from the USA.
From the Caribbean: LIAT offers inter-Caribbean connections to Dominica, Antigua, Fort-de-France, Barbados and St Lucia. Air Guadeloupe connects Pointe-à-Pitre with Antigua, Cayenne, Port-au-Prince, Dominica, Fort-de-France, La Désirade, Marie-Galante, St Barts, Sint-Maarten, St Martin, San Juan, Santo Domingo and Terre-de-Haut. Cubana from Havana, Air Caraïbe Exploitations from St Barts, St Martin, and Air St Martin from St Martin.
Numerous cruise lines sail from US and French ports. Atlantica and Caribbean Express operate a fast, scheduled ferry service between Pointe-à-Pitre, Dominica and Martinique (see Dominica for details). You can get a small motor-sail vessel to Dominica from Pointe-à-Pitre for not much less than the flight. The boat leaves at 1300, 3 days a week, takes 2 hrs, is not very comfortable and sea sickness is a distinct possibility.
(French flag) Deshaies, Basse-Terre and Pointe-à-Pitre are ports of entry but Iles des Saintes is not. No charge for EU or US citizens. French forms to fill in.
Pointe-à-Pitre has good groceries, marine supplies, fuel, water, free 220 electricity, bus to town from marina. Free dinghy dock in marina. Duty free fuel when you clear out of the country. Charter companies inc Moorings, Jet Sea, Stardust ATM.
