Accommodations

The largest hotels in Georgetown have their own emergency electricity generators and water pumps to deal with any interruptions in supply.

Other hotels usually provide a bucket of water in your room, fill this up when water is available. When booking an a/c room, make sure it also has natural ventilation. A 10% room tax applies to hotels with more than 16 rooms.
