CARICOM Energy Month 2025 | Upcoming Events

This November, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, Member States and Associate Members will participate in a dynamic programme comprising webinars, tours, expos, and community engagement activities designed to raise awareness and foster collaboration on renewable energy and energy efficiency. The theme for this year’s activities is “Invest, Innovate, Sustain: Leading the Charge in Renewable Energy Frontiers”.

One of last year’s popular activities, “No Iron Day”, also called “Rough Dry Day” in some countries,  is back by popular demand.  Introduced in 2024, No Iron Day, encourages individuals, households, and employees across the Region to conserve electricity by skipping ironing for a day. The initiative promotes simple, everyday actions that contribute to energy conservation. “No Iron Day” will be observed on November 7, 14, 21, and 28.

CARICOM Energy Month 2025 is coordinated by the CARICOM Secretariat’s Energy Programme, in collaboration with the German Cooperation (GIZ)  and the Guyana Energy Agency (GEA).
