Flamingo Restaurant and Bar, T4650898, on Monkey Hill. Pool tables and a small dance floor. On Fri night the place to be is Monkey Bar at Frigate Bay. Open for dancing on the beach, everyone goes but only gets going after midnight.
In Basseterre, dance floors are at Mango’s, T4654049. For Fri dancing. In the country, BCA, T4657606/7, at Saddlers; Manhattan Gardens, T4659121, in Old Road Town, and Off Limit, in Cayon, T4669821.
Nightclubs include Lions Den Club, T4652582, in Bird Rock, and Eclipse at Canada Estate, T4668188. Fairly smart, open Fri and Sat 2200-0530. On Sun almost everything closes down in Basseterre, but occasionally Monkey Bar will be ‘happening’ and Turtle Beach at the end of the southeast peninsula usually has sunset dancing until midnight.
