Currency:

The United States dollar. The Treasury also issues a Turks & Caicos crown and quarter. Travelers
cheques in U.S. dollars are widely accepted and other currency can be changed at local banks. American Express, VISA and MasterCard are welcomed at many locations.

Taxes and Service Charges:

Departure tax: US$23.00. Room tax: 8%. Service charge: 10% at resorts.
