Airport Road:
Within walking distance from the airport is Fast Eddie’s, T9413176. Wed night buffet, open 0730-2300. Excellent native food, no alcohol on premises, reservations for groups. Frances Place, T9464472. Family dining 0600-2200, Jamaican touch, TV, slots, closed Sun. Gilley’s is the only place to eat at the airport, a/c, noisy, local hangout, indifferent service and menu. 5 mins’ walk from airport, Rolling Pin Hotte Shoppe Restaurant, T9415023. Immaculate indoor or outdoor seating, Trinidadian and native food, curry and roti, salads, 0900-2100, at Airport Plaza near Airport Inn. Where Its At, T9464185. Jamaican specialities by Yvette, curried goat and Presidente beer by the quart a must, generous portions, daily specials, 0630-2300, Turn Table Disco next door.

Leeward Highway:

China Restaurant, T9465377. Mandarin cuisine, Chinese chef, a/c, open daily, no lunch Sun. In the Bight, the Cabana Bar at Coral Gardens & White House Villas serves conch and fish lunches 1230-1430. Dora’s Restaurant and Bar, near PPC power station, T9464558. Open from 0730 until very late, local recipes, filling, eat in or takeaway. Hemingway’s on the beach is the restaurant at the Sands Resort, T9465199. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring fresh seafoods. Jungle Hut Café, in newly-opened Grace Bay Plaza, native cuisine, ladies’ nights, closed Tue. Bella Luna Ristorante, in the Glass House west of Allegro, T9465214. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, Wed lunch specials, Fri happy hour, popular with doctors, lawyers, business people and visiting golfers, same management as The Terrace in Turtle Cove.

Leeward Going Through:

At the east end of Providenciales is Gilley’s at Leeward, T9465094. Open from 0800-2200, by the marina, breakfast, lunch specials, good food, friendly, superb service, meet local fishermen, arrange outings, boat trips, elegant, romantic dinners.

Blue Hills Settlement:

Conch House, everything conch, 1100-late, Mon-Sat. Caribbean Mack (formerly Roadrunner). Soca, reggae, latino, nightly till late. Pub On the Bay, T9414453. Not to be missed, indoor or tiki hut dining on the beach, great native dishes, lobster, conch, buffets, sometimes live band. Three Queens Bar & Restaurant, T9415984. Excellent, reasonably-priced, local seafood lunches and dinners, by reservation only as the restaurant section is not always open.
