Many other places on the main street are overpriced. When purchasing jewellery, bargain hard, don’t pay by credit card (surcharges are imposed), get a detailed guarantee of the item. Designer clothes are cheap in many places, especially on Blvd Guevara, Blvd Gómez, Calles Igualdad and Velázquez; cosmetics and perfumes also good value.
